Dr. Betty Rozendaal BES, MA, R.Ac, ND, (Clinic Director) is a Naturopathic Doctor and Registered Acupuncturist, dedicated to guiding you on your path to optimal health and wellness. She treats a wide variety of health conditions and offers services for every age, from pediatrics to geriatrics.
Dr. Rozendaal has a strong interest in environmental medicine and an in-depth knowledge of the effects that common environmental contaminants and toxins have on our health. She routinely treats women’s health concerns including hormonal balance, fertility, menopause, thyroid health, and healthy menstrual cycles; men’s issues including prostate concerns, erectile dysfunction, infertility; children’s health including acute or chronic infections, eczema, behavioral issues and food and environmental allergies; digestive disorders in people of all ages, and seniors concerns, including chronic and acute pain, insomnia, cardiovascular disease, cancer and healthy aging. Dr. Rozendaal’s passion for Naturopathic Medicine and environmental issues goes back more than 20 years from the time she graduated with her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Environmental Studies from the University of Waterloo. Prior to graduating from the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine, she worked for over 15 years in the environmental and energy industries, where she developed and directed environmental programs in the natural gas, electricity, nuclear, and wind energy sectors. Dr. Rozendaal has travelled extensively and has had the opportunity to work in Indonesia, where she developed an environmental research center and trained local staff in water quality issues. She also has had the opportunity to speak at numerous environmental conferences in Canada and in Europe and participate in several international climate change and sustainable development meetings. This extensive experience has given her in-depth knowledge into the effects that environmental contaminants have on our health and the role they play in many diseases.
Dr. Rozendaal is a certified Wilson’s Temperature Syndrome, Naturopathic Doctor and will work with you to optimize body temperature and thyroid function through nutrition, herbal medicine and/or dessicated thryoid prescriptions. She is also certified in advanced injection therapies such as Intravenous Therapy, she is trained in Mistletoe injection therapy for adjunctive cancer care, and offers specialized treatments such as Bio-identical hormone and dessicated thyroid prescriptions, infertility acupuncture, cosmetic acupuncture and facial rejuvenation as well as Matrix Repatterning. As part of her clinical training, Dr. Rozendaal trained on the Oncology shift at the Canadian College of Naturopathic Medicine and interned at Sherbourne Health Centre and Anishnawbe Health Toronto, working with patients to help improve their quality of life, decrease the side effects of their medications and help keep their immune systems in balance.
Her values include an integrative approach to health, through preventative medicine, acute and chronic care and individualized treatment. As a Naturopathic Doctor, she believes it is her duty to spend adequate time with each patient and to listen, educate and tailor each visit according to your needs, encouraging you to take an active role in your health. She is happy to work with your other health care practitioners to provide you with the most well rounded, best care possible.
In addition to naturopathic medicine and the environment, Dr. Rozendaal has a passion for fitness and sports medicine. She is an avid skier, mountain climber, hiker, and kayaker and is a certified PADI scuba instructor. She is a member of the Ontario Association of Naturopathic Doctors, the Canadian Association of Naturopathic Doctors, The Oncology Association of Naturopathic Physicians and is registered with the College of Naturopaths of Ontario (CONO) and the College of Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioners and Acupuncturists of Ontario (CTCMPAO).

Dr. Blumenkranz works hard to understand and uncover the deeper meaning and issues behind her patient’s health concerns by finding the patterns that lead to their health problems. She integrates different modalities to treat and care for the mind, body and soul and establishes personal connections with her patients by guiding them through the pursuit of optimal health, wellness and recovery. In her practice, she integrates Naturopathic modalities such as Nutrition, Acupuncture, Homeopathy, Hydrotherapy, Manipulation, Counselling and Body-Mind techniques like Yoga, Eutonia, Guided Meditation and Relaxation, all supported by Evidence Based Medicine.
Dr. Blumenkranz graduated as a Medical Doctor from the University of Buenos Aires in Argentina, and completed her residency in Family Medicine at the Hospital Frances in Buenos Aires. She practised medicine for more than 10 years and was an active teacher of Family Medicine at the pre and postgraduate levels in the Department of Family Medicine at Hospital Frances. Her deep passion to understand the human condition led to her training in Systemic Psychology for Family Doctors, Medical Anthropology and integrated group studies of philosophy.
Dr. Blumenkranz moved to Canada from Argentina with her husband and decided to take time to raise her young family. She first became a yoga teacher in the Kripalu tradition, and most recently has been pursuing her dream of integrating her Family Medicine background with her Naturopathic Medicine training into a family oriented practice.

For over two decades Veronika Zhmurko has been using her substantial skills in homeopathic medicine to successfully treat people of all ages.
Veronika has a traditional European medical education. As such, she underwent medical training equivalent to North American medical doctors, as well as additional courses and training in preventative medicine (e.g. hygiene, nutrition), nature-based treatments (including herbology, hydrotherapy), and homeopathy. She studied homeopathy with such masters as Dr. Tatiana Popova (Popov School of Homeopathy, Ukraine), George Vithoulkas (International Academy of Homeopathy, Greece), Dr. Andre Saine and Dr. Joe Kellerstein (Canadian Academy of Homeopathy) as well as Dr. Jose Isaac (India).

After graduation from medical school, Veronika worked in the Ukraine as a family Doctor and general practitioner for 10 years. In 2000, she completed her PhD in clinical immunology and in 2001 was awarded the position of Assistant Professor in the Department of Post Graduate Studies at the Kiev Medical Academy.
Over the course of her medical career, Veronika has authored 14 scientific papers in the field of immunology, allergology and internal medicine.
Since moving to Canada in 2002, Veronika’s career and studies have been predominantly focused on homeopathy. Veronika currently practices homeopathy and teaches at Canadian College of Homeopathic Medicine.
